Eaten files move to a folder you can open any time, searchable by name, type and day.

Back to the exact pixel

It remembers where each icon sat on your desktop and puts it back there. A giant paw can even place them one by one.

Undo every bite

A history of every bite and spit, with one-click undo. “Put everything back” undoes all of it, and a rescue file brings everything home even if Hugo is deleted.

Your private papers stay private

Bank statements, cards, passwords, passports and IDs never go to the AI: not their content, not even their names. Hugo spots them right on your Mac, and you can add your own folders too.

No detection is 100% certain, so Hugo lets you protect any folder yourself. Details in our Privacy Policy.

Good to know

Where do my files go?

Into the monster's belly: a normal folder on your Mac (or your iCloud Drive if you choose). Nothing is uploaded and nothing is deleted.

What does the AI see?

Only what you ask it to look at, for that request. Messages go through our server to Anthropic's Claude; we count usage but don't store your messages. You can also plug in your own key.

Can it run things on my Mac?

Only with your OK. Every command, script, file write and file move is shown to you first, and the default button is Deny. You can switch full access off entirely.

What is AI energy?

Pro includes a monthly AI allowance. Everyday jobs barely touch it; web searches and the Balanced model use more. The bar in Settings shows what's left, and it refills on the 1st.

macOS says it can't open the app

During the early-access period the app isn't signed by Apple yet. Open it once, then go to System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down and click “Open Anyway”. After that it opens normally.

Does it speak my language?

The app is in English and Turkish, and the AI answers in whatever language you write in.
